The Junction City store has stood on its current location for decades, surviving a number of flood, fire and other events. One of the last stores along the Trinity River corridor, the “JC Store” is one of the few remaining local grocery locations of many that used to exist along the river.
Owned and operated by Frank “Butch” and Debra Chapman, the JC store is a hub of information and activity in all seasons. From winter road conditions and information to providing a respite patio dining area from the summer heat, the Junction City Store is a community hub that continues to be an important part of the downriver community.
